5 Things to Add to Your Morning Routine to be Productive, not Busy!

Being "busy" doesn't always mean being productive. But, with intention we can be productively busy! Here are my top tips to setting yourself up for a day that can be productive to Get. Shit. Done.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀


Did you know?

Tuesday is the most productive day of the week✔️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Mondays come in second place, and Wednesdays are third. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Thursday and Friday are tied for the least productive days of the week {DUH} 😜.... this is from the 300+ HR managers who were polled in an Accountemps study. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀



So if you have a big project to tackle – or a backlog of work to catch up on – apparently, Tuesday is the day⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✔️ Tuesday is when you need to get done ALL. THE. IMPORTANT. THINGS....

P.S.- that study also concluded that the best time is between 10 AM and noon 🕛


But how can we make the most of everyday and be as productive as possible???


The secret- start your day with a routine that will light a fire inside you.


1. Wake up early (or earlier than the kids)⠀I love my 20X3 Method⠀for starting the day ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2. Chug some H20 and ACV or lemon to kickstart your metabolism

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3. Be grateful, and write it down⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

4. Set some goals that need to get accomplished-TODAY- keep it a short list⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 5. Caffeinate (if you love that AM coffee like me) or grab a hot tea or smoothie⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀



Conquer the day!!


The hardest part is getting started. Take small steps everyday and be super intentional with what you are doing to keep yourself from just being "busy".


Now that you have the simple steps you can take to start your day in a productive way, go get shit done and tackle that goal list! Do the hardest thing first (or the thing that you don't want to do the most)!
